Starting Point is a class for anyone who wants to learn more about Destiny Church. Throughout this class, you will discover some of the ways God is moving through Destiny and how you can be involved.

After completing this class, we are confident you will know how to apply Destiny’s mission, vision, and dream into your everyday life.

This course is to help new believers in their walk with the Lord. We study topics, such as salvation, the Holy Spirit, prayer, the local church, spiritual warfare, faith, Bible doctrines, and more. Proverbs 9:1 "Wisdom has built her house; she has hewn out its seven pillars." 

Ephesians 4:11-12 – we all do the work of the ministry

Four main ministry areas churches need to develop:

• Apostles – visionary, pushing into new territory
• Prophets – hear from God, intercessors
• Evangelists – share good news, people need Jesus
• Pastors – care for people, encouragers
• Teachers – teach and apply truth

We are all to be ministers of Jesus to our world.

God has given all of us:

• Earthly assignments
• Abilities to fulfill the assignments
• Church family to help assist us
• Provision: finances, favor

• Ministry involvement inside or outside Destiny Church family

Course Procedure:
We will meet on the 4th Tuesday of the month from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Those who cannot attend in person can ZOOM. Childcare will be provided as needed. Assignments will be given to work on during the week.

Class Schedule:
6:30pm – Testimonies and prayer
7:00pm – Discuss discipleship course material
7:45pm – Special topic and discussion
8:30pm – Closing prayer

Destiny’s Leadership Training Course (DLTC) helps guide people in their pursuit of ministerial training and credentials. At Destiny, we are constantly expanding our ministry team to have a greater impact in central Nebraska. Each student will pick a course of training that will help them fulfill their ministry goals.

The course cost will depend on which curriculum track you select. There is no registration fee for the training; however, there may be fees to cover some of the materials used throughout the course.
