At DC Kids, our vision is to be a launching pad for world changers—raising up a generation of children who know they are uniquely created and deeply loved by God. We envision confident kids who understand their identity in Jesus, live out their faith boldly, and influence the world around them through love, kindness, and truth. We see a future where every child is grounded in God’s Word, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and equipped to impact their homes, schools, and communities for Christ.

Our Mission

Our mission at DC Kids is to partner with families to help children encounter God in a safe, engaging, and joy-filled environment. Through dynamic worship, interactive Bible teaching, creative play, and meaningful relationships, we guide kids to:
  • Know God’s love and understand who they are in Christ.
  • Grow in faith by learning biblical truths and how to apply them in everyday life.
  • Show kindness and compassion to others, reflecting the heart of Jesus.
  • Go out boldly to make a difference in their world as young disciples.

To fulfill this mission, our background-checked and well-trained team of volunteers and staff are committed to providing excellence in care, creativity in teaching, and authenticity in relationships. Every child is seen, known, and valued—because we believe each one has a divine purpose and a story that God is writing.
Programs For All Ages
Our lessons are designed to meet the spiritual and developmental needs of every child.

We offer programs for:
  • Nursery: Ages 0–3
  • PreK: Ages 4–5
  • Elementary: Grades K–5
Safe
Your child’s safety is one of our highest priorities. Every volunteer and staff member is thoroughly screened and background-checked. At check-in, parents receive a unique ID tag that matches their child’s tag to ensure secure pick-up.

For added peace of mind, cameras are installed throughout the church. Parents may request live access to their child’s room by creating a WYZE account and requesting permission during check-in.
Fun
When kids have a blast at church, they can’t wait to come back! Each week, your child will experience fun games, creative activities, small groups, and engaging lessons that help them discover who God is and how much He loves them.
Creative Biblical Teachings
Bible stories and spiritual truths come to life through engaging skits, hands-on activities, and meaningful discussions. We want kids to develop a love for God’s Word and discover how to apply it in their daily lives.

nursing MOTHERS

A private, safe, and comfortable room is available between the Nursery and Pre-K classrooms. The space includes rocking chairs, a changing table, and a TV streaming the service.

Please ask the Kids Check-In team for the door code to access the room. For everyone’s privacy and safety, do not share the code with others.
