Starting Point
Starting Point is the course for anyone who wants to learn more about Destiny Church. Throughout this course, you will discover some of the ways God is moving through Destiny and how you can be involved. After this course, we are confident you will know how to apply Destiny’s mission, vision, and dream into your everyday life.

Volunteer
The body of Christ needs you to make ministry happen! There are numerous opportunities where you can get involved in a ministry that fits your skills, passion, and time. Our goal is to have everyone involved on at least one team! - Hebrews 6:10

Membership
To become a voting member of Destiny, you must...
- Be born again (asked Jesus to be Lord and Savior of your life) - John 1:12, 13; 3:3-8; 1 Peter 1:18-25
- Show evidence of a consistent Christian life - Exodus 20:1-17; Matthew 5-7; Romans 6:4, 8:1-4, 13:13-14; 1 Corinthians 6; Galatians 5:19-25; Ephesians 4:17-5:21; 1 John 1:6-7
- Regularly attend services - Hebrews 10:25
- Support the church financially
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Apply with a membership application through the church office
Missions
Going on a missions trip is an opportunity to reach the world with The Gospel! Trips offer a change of pace & place, which often leads to a change of perspective. God can use anyone and everyone to spread His love to a lost world.

Leadership
Godly leadership isn’t about position or power — it’s about servanthood, character, and spiritual influence.
True leaders lead from the inside out, allowing the Holy Spirit to shape their hearts before they shape a team. They lead with humility, guided by prayer, anchored in integrity, and motivated by love. Jesus modeled this when He said, “The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve” (Matthew 20:28).
When we lead — whether in a Life Group, a class, an event, or a volunteer team — we’re not just organizing people; we’re discipling hearts. Every act of service and every prayer draws others closer to Christ.
Pray about where God may be calling you to lead. Godly leaders don’t just build programs — they build people. And through people, God changes the world.
