Matt 1:18-25 & Isaiah 7:14

-Jesus had a Divine Nature and a Human Nature

He was fully God & fully human

-Nature defines the characteristics of something, determines its ability

-We are born with a Sin Nature- Psalms 51:5 , Romans 8:6 & 7

-To rescue us from our Sin Nature we needed a new nature.

-A new Nature comes through birth, it’s inherited

-2 Peter 1:4 God wants to give us a new Divine Nature

-Divine Nature comes through birth, must be Born Again

-Power of the Sin Nature is destroyed in our lives - Roman 6:6 & Galatians 5:22-24

-You have a new identity from God’s Divine Nature deposited in your life - 2 Corthinians 5:17 & 21

-No longer sinners but saints-Roman 1:7, I Cornthians 1:2, Ephesians 2:19

-Word saint means made holy, God sees you as a saint because of His Divine Nature He has given you
