Notes:

What is Worship?

* Worship is acts or expression (bow down and or prostrate)

of reverence (deep respect, admiration, and awe

mingled with humble fear) of God.

2. Why do we worship?

* God commands us to worship Him (Psalm 150: 6; 1 Chronicles 16:29)

* God does not have to accept our worship (Amos 5:1, 21-24)

* We worship God because we cannot stand NOT to worship (2

Samuel 6: 14-16; 20-22)

3. How do we worship God?

* With all our might and joy. With reverence for God ( 2 Samuel 6: 14-

16; 20-22)

* Worship is only for God

4. When we worship God, He

* He Blesses and delivers (Exodus 23:25)

* Guides us with His divine plans and prophetic words (Acts 13: 1-3)

* Shows victory in battles (2 Chronicles 20:22)

He does not need us to worship Him, but He wants us to to worship

Him. If we are to worship Him, we need to worship Him in Spirit and

in Truth.
