Legal Process of Salvation

Colossians 2:13-15

We were born under the authority & control of the Kingdom of Darkness Psalms 51:1-5

Blood of Jesus forgives our sin & destroys the evil system that kept us bound

Word “Handwriting” means a legal document

God’s nature is Holy & He cannot just overlook sin but must deal with it justly

Both of God’s loving mercy & justice must be applied to our lives; one doesn’t cancel out the other

Legal Process of Salvation:

Redemption means the price is paid

Justification means the verdict has been rendered, “Not Guilty”

Romans 8:1:4

Forgiveness means the debt has been erased from the record

Psalms 103:11&12

Covenant means the relationship has been legally & eternally restored – Jeremiah 31:33

The Kingdom of Darknesses legal ordinance over our lives has been nailed to the Cross

We are free from Satan’s plan

Hebrews 10:16-17
